Harris Lamb enables new back-to-back letting at Meteor Park

Agents at Harris Lamb have overseen a back-to-back surrender and new lease on a prime mid-box industrial unit at a Birmingham business park.

The business acted for a retained corporate client, a former tenant of Unit 2 Meteor Park, Aston in effecting a surrender to enable the landlord to secure a new occupier for the 22,235 sqft property.

The modern unit, which is to be refurbished to a Grade A specification, attracted strong levels of interest and was swiftly let to an unnamed occupier on confidential terms.

“Demand for mid-box industrial units in Birmingham remains healthy and this the latest in a series of lettings in recent months that we have been involved with,” said Neil Slade, Director.

“This particular property occupies a prime location on Argyle Street, offering immediate access to the UK motorway network at Junction 6 of the M6. Moreover, the excellent specification of the detached building, including 9m eaves, HQ offices and good external yard were all key to the new tenant, who have several units in the immediate area.

“This deal follows a long-standing involvement in the Estate for Harris Lamb, where we worked closely with the current owners of Meteor Park to quickly agree terms on this letting, which is a great success for both our outgoing tenant client, landlord and new tenant alike,” he added.

“Despite the various headwinds in the market, Harris Lamb continues to oversee strong levels of enquiries in MLI, mid-box and logistics sectors with several notable deals concluded in Q1 and Q2 2026 and, importantly, key deals lined up for Q3 and beyond.”
