Harris Lamb has provided a Birmingham structural and civil engineering firm with acquisition advice to help it relocate from its city centre base to a prime office suite in Edgbaston.
Nolan Associates, an established business with a proven track record for providing cost-effective and innovative civil and structural solutions on a range of UK-wide engineering projects, sought the guidance of the business’ lease advisory team on agreeing acquisition terms for the first floor of 5-6 Greenfield Crescent situated in the heart of Edgbaston Village.
Andy Smith, of Harris Lamb’s Lease Advisory team, said: “We have a long-standing relationship with Nolan Associates, and have previously advised on their former premises at 54 Hagley Road, where Nolans had occupied space since 2013.
“The new office at 5/6 Greenfield Crescent comprises 4,063 sq ft and was developed and refurbished by Calthorpe Estates 10 years ago. The new offices are located on the first floor of the building and are beautifully designed and offer a secure, high specification space including a breakout space, meetings rooms, a flexible boardroom and on-site parking, as well as superb connectivity and access links, surrounded by a vast choice of amenities.
Harris Lambs Building Consultancy Team has since been instructed to carry out the Dilapidations project at the former premises,” he said.
Nicholas Warwick, Director at Nolan Associates, said: “We are delighted with the advice that Harris Lamb provided us with to secure this superb new premises for our 25-strong team.
“This is quite a special relocation to us as our business started here in Greenfield Crescent 43 years ago and it feels as though we’ve relocated to a vibrant and modern, up and coming business centre. The new building is well- appointed, offers excellent transport links via road, rail and tram, and has everything Birmingham has to offer within easy reach, in a spacious and bright environment.”
