Total Produce takes a fresh look at Mill Place

Total Produce, Europe’s premier fresh produce provider, is relocating its Gloucestershire wholesale depot to Unit 7 Mill Place in Gloucester, in a deal negotiated by property consultants Alder King.

The Irish business acquired local food supplier Halls of Gloucester in 2011 and is now returning its Gloucestershire operation to Mill Place, which had been the home of Halls for many years before it relocated to Ashville Industrial Estate.

Total Produce has taken a 5,231 sq ft unit at Mill Place with additional covered space also onsite. Alder King acted for Robert Hitchins Ltd while Total Produce was unrepresented.

Rob Holley of Alder King’s Gloucester office said: “It’s interesting to see this business come full circle and return to its original base at Mill Place. The estate is a well-established commercial location with a range of office, industrial and warehouse buildings. It backs onto the Canal and provides easy access to the M5 at Junction 12.”

Alder King is marketing a number of units at Mill Place, ranging from 75,667 sq ft to 6,393 sq ft in size. More information is available from Alder King in Gloucester on 01452 623290 or at www.alderking.com.

Total Produce grows, sources, imports, packs, distributes and markets over 200 lines of fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers, distributing some 250 million cartons of fresh produce to the retail, wholesale, foodservice and processing sectors across Europe annually.
