Midland law firm quick to comply

A leading edge software business is looking forward to accelerated growth, thanks to the speed of a Midland law firm.

ComplyNC is a new venture that designs, develops and manages innovative property and facilities management technology systems to maximise the efficiency, value and compliance of property support services.

It has received a six-figure investment through the Central England Business Angel network.

However, the deal – which involved four separate angel investors – needed to be completed in a tight time frame.

That is where Leamington Spa solicitors Wright Hassall came in. Its corporate team was able to complete all aspects of the agreement inside the two week deadline, ensuring a bright future for ComplyNC.

Rita Rajput led Wright Hassall’s team in the case. She said: “The requirements of this investment were that it was fast-tracked to be completed in two weeks, before year-end.

“It was, of course, a challenge to get all aspects of the deal, from four separate investors, in place so quickly.

“However we have a flexible and knowledgeable team here, which works to tight deadlines regularly.”

Mark Purnell is a director of ComplyNC, which creates intelligent software systems managing the high volume security, cleaning and maintenance support services associated with major client properties or portfolios, including schools and universities, hospitals, commercial offices and shopping centres.

He is pleased that the company was able to complete the investment process in the required timeframe and can now focus on growing this exciting business.

Mark added: “We were absolutely delighted that Wright Hassall was able to complete this deal for us in time.

“This significant investment will help the accelerated growth of the business, which we feel has huge potential.

“I have spent a career in property and facilities management during which it has become increasingly clear that there is a crying need for a next generation technology service that drives effectiveness, harmonisation and compliance of support service processes.

“That is exactly what ComplyNC’s systems provide and the interest in our proposition is phenomenal.”
