Only two units remain at the new local centre at Twigworth, being brought forward by Robert Hitchins Ltd.
Janes Pantry is the latest retailer to take space following the earlier announcement that Midcounties Co-Operative will be the anchor store at the new mixed-use development north of Gloucester.

The centre, built by EG Carter, was completed in September. The Midcounties Cooperative is expected to open its 4,000 sq ft convenience store in February 2022. Janes Pantry is investing £300,000 in the unit, creating its 11th and biggest café in Gloucestershire, with 48 seats.
Managing Director of Janes Pantry, Neville Morse, said: “We have now returned to pre-Covid turnover. It has been a large hill to climb. We have streamlined and hopefully have come out of the pandemic stronger.”
Harry Hitchins added: “Not only will the centre provide much-needed facilities for the residents of Twigworth, it will also be a great service for commuters on the A38 who will be able to drop in on their way to work and back.
“Based on current traffic data and future traffic modelling, the average number of vehicle movements along the A38 is forecast at 16,500 within a 24-hour period once the housing at Twigworth Green has been completed.”
Commercial property agents Arc Retail are marketing the remaining units which are available to rent for uses including shops, cafes, pharmacies and hot food takeaways.
Units range from 750 to 1,000 sq ft and can be amalgamated to create a single unit of up to 3,000 sq ft.
The 725 homes at Twigworth Green are being developed by national housebuilder Vistry. Robert Hitchins has also provided landscaping, electric charge points and support infrastructure as well as a new access road and roundabout from the A38 between Gloucester and Tewkesbury.
