Fievel Healthcare expands operations in Watford

In a renewed sign of confidence in the Watford commercial property market, the RO Group is delighted to announce that Fievel Healthcare Ltd has more than doubled its office space in Watford. Fievel had originally leased 1,521 sq ft in the GNR8 office building, located at 49 Clarendon Road and owned by the RO Group, and has now expanded its operations taking a total of 3,880 sq ft. The new lease is for a five year term.

Just over a year ago, GNR8 was redeveloped into fully modern offices. Setting the standard for office property in Watford, and Hertfordshire, GNR8 is an easily adaptable and contemporary space with industrial style finishes which contrast against furniture in lively colours.

GNR8 was also the first building in Hertfordshire to secure Fitwel Certification, a simple and easy to apply healthy building measure. Fitwel sets out evidence-based design and operational strategies that enhance buildings and address a range of health behaviours and risks. Based on the strength of evidence and the demonstrated impact on occupant health in the building, GNR8 received a three star certification. A trailblazer, GNR8 is only the second three star Fitwel certified building in the UK.

Approximately 4,700 sq. ft. remains available, spread across a range of suites starting from 1,219 sq. ft in size.

David Kershaw, Group Real Estate Director, the RO commented:

“Despite ongoing uncertainty across the property market and wider economy, GNR8 has remained resilient as an asset for us. Demand for offices on Clarendon Road, Watford remains strong and with the return to work in full swing, we anticipate further demand for well connected, high quality offices with access to a wide variety of amenities both within the building and local area. There are many aspects about GNR8 that make it an attractive place to work rather than at home, not least the three star Fitwel accreditation and the high specification business lounge which is ideal to accommodate a flexible working style.”
