JLL appoints new Birmingham rating director

JLL has announced that Jessica Hand has joined its rating team in Birmingham as a director.

Jessica joins from FHP in Nottingham where she spent 11 years providing rating advice to landlords concentrating on appeal work, redevelopments, empty rates mitigation, and budgeting advice.

Tim Beattie, head of UK rating at JLL, said “Jessica’s specialist skills are widely respected in the market and will compliment and strengthen our rating service across the regions. Rates have become a significant issue for everyone owning commercial property and this latest appointment strengthens our capability to deliver market leading advice in this specialist area.”

Jessica’s appointment follows that of Simon Griffin who joined JLL in 2020 to lead its occupier rating business line.
