Thursfields Solicitors has helped a Birmingham property agent re-let an industrial unit in just five days.

Stewart Coles, an associate director in Thursfields’ commercial property team, and Edward Siddall-Jones of agents Siddall Jones, acting on behalf of the landlord Vitalplus Ltd, enabled an electronics wholesale business to move into Units 7 & 8 Magreal Industrial Estate, Freeth Street, Birmingham.

Mr Coles said: “It was a very quick turnaround. The previous tenant vacated due to a change of ownership and Siddall Jones very quickly had a new tenant lined up.

“This meant the property was only vacant for a few days.”

Thursfields’ corporate team had helped previous occupiers Total Distribution Ltd to move to new premises in Halesowen so that White Hawk Ltd could move into Units 7 & 8 Magreal Industrial Estate.

White Hawk Ltd has signed a five year lease on the 3,900 sq ft premises at a rental of £25,000 per annum.

Stewart Coles said: “The new occupier has invested in substantial improvements to the security features of the building. It is good to see a tenant prepared to invest, demonstrating confidence in the market.”

Letting agent Edward Siddall-Jones said: “We were able to conclude a deal very speedily with the professional teams involved working seamlessly and we are delighted to have helped White Hawk Ltd to move in so quickly and smoothly.”
