Largest city letting of the year as Three Brindleyplace secures serviced office supplier

Serviced office suppliers i2 Office has taken over 28,000 square feet of space in the city’s prestigious Three Brindleypalce, in Birmingham’s largest Grade A letting of the year so far.

The letting, which is on a 15 year term, is for the Grade A building’s second and third floors, which will be converted into serviced office units managed by i2 Office.

The letting at Three Brindleyplace marks the first Birmingham location for i2 Office, which has already established successful offices in prime city centre locations, including London, Leeds, Watford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Milton Keynes and Manchester.

Philip Grace, CEO, i2 Office, said: “We understand that there is healthy demand within Birmingham for serviced offices of the highest quality and opening at Three Brindleyplace is a perfect fit for i2 with our strategy of locating the best business centre facilities in prime Grade A office buildings.”

“The combination of Brindleyplace’s location, its reputation as a business destination of choice and the profile of other occupiers on the estate creates a perfect synergy with i2 Office. We want to ensure that we provide our customers with the best technology, flexibility and service levels in outstanding locations, and Brindleyplace fulfils this criteria perfectly.”

Alongside a range of flexible options for occupiers, each of i2 Office’s business centres also provides virtual office services, meeting rooms and disaster recovery solutions.

A part of the award-winning Brindleyplace estate, which is owned and operated by owners Hines Global REIT and Moorfield Group (Moorfield), Three Brindleyplace fronts on to Central Square, with a rear aspect that overlooks Birmingham’s canal network.

Jeremy Marchant, Moorfield, said: “We are continually looking to expand the range of occupiers on the estate and the premium brand service that i2 offers makes them a natural fit for Brindleyplace. These serviced offices will allow smaller businesses to enjoy the benefits of the estate, while retaining the flexibility and fixed financial outlay inherent to a business centre model. We are looking forward to welcoming i2 Office to Brindleyplace.”

Brindleyplace includes an extremely diverse mix of commercial tenants, including Deloitte, RBS, and Deutsche Bank. A full range of bars, restaurants and leisure amenities are also available across the estate, including Café Rouge, the Handmade Burger Company, Bannatyne’s Health Club, and Bank bar and restaurant.

Existing occupiers at Three Brindleyplace include GVA, and Towers Watson.

Simon Houlston represented i2 and GVA/Colliers represented Hines & Moorfield in securing the letting.
