Devonshire Square (DSQ) has announced that international law firm RPC is taking all five floors at its DSQ 10 building for its London headquarters. The firm has completed a deal for the entire building comprising 67,023 sq ft of Grade A office space.
The move will see RPC relocate from its current premises at Tower Bridge, where it has been based since 2006. The firm has been actively exploring options for a new London headquarters, with its existing lease due to expire in 2027, and selected DSQ due to its quality of space, sustainability credentials and connectivity.
DSQ 10 is a Grade II-listed building that combines heritage architecture with modern office specifications, providing high-quality workspace in a prime City location. The building includes a private roof terrace, runs on fully renewable energy and incorporates carbon offsetting methods. DSQ 10 is currently occupied by WeWork, which will continue to occupy nine floors at DSQ 8.
The wider DSQ campus offers a mix of amenities, including F&B, leisure and an arts and wellness-focused events programme for local workers. The Square benefits from excellent transport links, being located five minutes from Liverpool Street Station and adjacent to Spitalfields.
RPC will join a growing multi-sector occupier community at DSQ, which includes a number of tech and fintech firms, such as Xero and Figma, as well as businesses across music production, recruitment and finance.
Andy Booth, Director at Nuveen, said: “We are seeing strong and sustained interest in DSQ from a wide variety of occupiers, not just in terms of volume but across an increasingly diverse range of industries. The addition of a leading law firm such as RPC further strengthens this mix and reflects the continued diversification of the wider City. We truly value the longstanding partnership we’ve had with WeWork at DSQ 10 – and continue to have at DSQ 8 – and look forward to this next chapter with RPC.”
“DSQ’s appeal lies in its ability to offer best-in-class workspace alongside exceptional connectivity and a vibrant campus environment.”
Antony Sassi, Managing Partner at RPC, said: “Moving to 10 Devonshire Square is a bold, future-focused decision for RPC as we look to the next chapter of our London office after 20 successful years at Tower Bridge House. Our new London home stood out for its modern, flexible and dynamic design, prime location and outstanding ESG credentials. It aligns perfectly with our collaborative culture and RPC values. We are really excited to make this fresh, long-term move, which will support our people and enhance the service we provide to our clients.”
The leasing agent for this deal was Newmark.
