Stantec, a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting has taken a 17,000 sq ft office pre-let at Embarq Bristol. The consultancy provides interdisciplinary services across the built environment and utilities sectors and is undergoing a sustained period of growth throughout the UK.
Requiring a new flagship location for more than 200 of its Bristol-based employees, Stantec selected Embarq due to its proximity to local transport connections and green and blue spaces, scalability, as well as its potential to house creative, collaborative workspaces. The Canadian firm employs a broad range of interdisciplinary professionals, from designers to engineers and planners, with collaboration and wellbeing at the heart of its culture.
The agreement marks a significant forward commitment at the property which is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment to provide best in class office space in the heart of Bristol city centre, overlooking the Floating Harbour and Bristol Bridge.
Once complete, the building will deliver 100,000 sq ft of Grade A, amenity rich office space targeting BREEAM Excellent, EPC A, and Nabers 4* rating in. The refurbishment works are due to complete in early Spring 2026.
