Dairy delivery company The Modern Milkman has signed up for an 8,000 square foot (sq ft) letting at Logicor’s Hillmead Industrial Estate, a well-established industrial and distribution location in North West Swindon.
The Modern Milkman delivers fresh milk from local dairies, as well as groceries and household products to customers’ doors in returnable glass bottles, reusable containers, or recyclable packaging.
As a result of the letting of Unit 14, a terraced warehouse, the site owned by leading European owner, manager and developer of logistics real estate Logicor, is now fully let.
Located three miles from Junction 16 of the M4 motorway, the estate has been recently refurbished. Cushman & Wakefield advised Logicor on the letting.
Ed Rohleder, a Senior Surveyor in Cushman & Wakefield’s UK Logistics & Industrial team, commented: “This is a fantastic site with a great location and connectivity. The estate is now fully let which aligns with the significant demand we are seeing for these types of assets.”
Cushman & Wakefield research shows demand for UK logistics and industrial space soared to new heights in 2021, with 70 million sq ft of occupier take up and the sector also attracting more than £17 billion of investment, both of which set new annual records.
