The role:

The candidate will support the Associate Director in all areas of Building Surveying consultancy, including taking (and being responsible for) instructions, whilst also handling clients and building relationships in both the commercial and public sectors.

Job Responsibilities will include:

• Work both autonomously and in a team to deliver portfolio survey exercises
• Design and contract administration duties
• Dilapidations and schedules of condition
• Planned maintenance
• Supervise teams on assignments
• Solve problems by following defined processes and precedents
• Raise the company’s profile

Desired Skills:

The candidate must be MRICS and have a degree in Building Surveying. Additionally, they will have experience of design and contract administration duties, dilapidations, schedules of condition, fire insurance/reinstatement valuations and planned maintenance. Desirable experience includes DDA surveys, CAD, Acquisition surveys (on behalf of the investor and occupier) and defect analysis. Furthermore, the candidate will be commercially focused, with good IT skills and technical expertise and finally, be capable of communicating and dealing successfully with clients.
