A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a chartered town planner to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy in their London office at Senior Planner level. This firm are one of the most recognised brands in planning and have a national network of offices. You will be working in a busy, modern and open plan office alongside other planning related and property disciplines.
We are looking for candidates who are MRTPI qualified and who have planning consultancy experience, ideally from the London market. We can consider strong planners or an existing senior planner. You will be working within a team that works on projects primarily in central London including complex residential, mixed-use and commercial schemes. Therefore, any experience in this arena is advantageous. A good grounding in application work as well as a good understanding of local and regional policies is essential. Your role will include; site visits, site appraisals, feasibility studies, writing planning statements, preparing and submitting planning applications, S106 negotiations, liaising with professional bodies and specialist consultants, assisting with any appeals, client liaison whilst providing the high level of expert town planning advice and consultancy service expected from this team.
You should be confident in client facing situations and in your presentation skills, you should enjoy networking and a busy team environment.
