Senior Estates Technical Manager

Our client is a global provider of professional and facilities management services with a variety of government style contracts across the UK.

Due to recent expansion, my client is seeking a Senior Estates Technical Manager to be based in Wiltshire but support the contract on a national basis.

Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for overseeing all elements of Hard FM and Asset Management services to the various customers within the contract. This will include reviewing all existing services, capital plans and specifications to increase efficiency and create cost savings. You will provide technical advice to the client whilst overseeing upgrade/replacement projects across the contract. You will also ensure compliance and monitor supplier performance.

The successful candidate will be engineering qualified, ideally Mechanical or Electrical with IOSH training and BIFM membership. A proven background in managing maintenance programmes across a large, multi-site, national contract is important. A good understanding of ISO55001 and BIM systems would be an advantage. Finally, my client is seeking a client facing candidate, ideally from a public-sector background with strong supply chain management and budget management skills.
