Residential Block Manager

Posted on: 25/05/2016 ~ Company:

Beach Baker are pleased to be working with a successful privately owned block management business in the Midlands who are seeking to grow the office with the appointment of a junior and more experienced residential block manager.

Candidates should have experience of full-cycle leasehold block management to include budget setting, taking maintenance instructions from initial report to satisfactory completion, property inspections for communal areas and fabric of building, running AGMs, understanding of building servicing requirements and be familiar with defects in period conversions and purpose built blocks. IRPM qualification is desirable but not essential, though a client facing persona and enthusiasm to progress would be well received!

Our client offers the opportunity to work for a successful independent business with a very high client retention rate and a well looked after portfolio. This vacancy is not due to excessive turnover of staff due to unmanageable unit numbers! With locally based accounts and administrative team support, on offer is a competitive salary-range of £22,000 to £27,000 for the junior role and up to £35,000 for the senior position (depending on experience), a car allowance (paid with salary), 25 days’ holiday, healthcare, and a supportive working environment.

To be short-listed for this position, candidates should have experience of managing leasehold property or at the very least AST property management with some exposure to block management, or public sector housing management experience, a head for figures and commitment to customer services.

A package appropriate to the experience of the candidate and profile of the position is on offer. To apply and for more information, please send your CV to Joe Goss, MIRPM, an experienced block manager who understands the sector. Call Joe in confidence on 0117 925 6401, or email [email protected] directly. Please also view www.beachbaker.co.uk for more property roles and to sign up for job alerts.

We aim to get back to all applications, however; if you have not received a response within 7 working days, please assume your application has been unsuccessful this time round. We will confidentially retain your details and inform you of any other suitable opportunities arising should you not be successful in this role.
