Finance Assistant

Beach Baker is currently working with a growing facilities management company to recruit a Finance Administrator in its Harrogate based head office. This person will monitor the re-charge process for all client sites, ensuring that current works are reflected in a timely and accurate manner throughout the entire process. Also responsible for sales invoicing, control account management and credit control.

This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, with flexibility available during the core business hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm.

Key duties of the role will include:

  • Maintain recharge trackers for all sites relating to lifecycle, variations, minor new works and damage.
  • Sales invoicing and credit control
  • Financial transactions – maintain journals, reconciliation of accounts, investigate discrepancies.
  • Monitor purchase orders and invoices to ensure trackers are up to date and that jobs are charged out at the earliest opportunity.

  • Review company recharge process and paperwork to ensure consistency, working with the Company Project Management and Lifecycle teams to devise process flows.

To be considered for this role, candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a comparable role in finance. Experience within facilities management or a related industry would be an advantage. Candidates should also have excellent communication and organisation skills. An accounting qualification such as AAT is desirable.
