Facilities Manager

Beach Baker is delighted to be working a leading property consultancy in their search for an experienced Facilities Manager. The successful candidate will take ownership for a large, trophy site in the West End.

You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of this key site, including; tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance, team management and preparation/management of the annual service charge budget. Other responsibilities will involve negotiation of contractor agreements and implementation of environmental initiatives. Most importantly, my client is seeking a candidate with a proactive and positive attitude to continue building the client relationship whilst delivering a 5 star service.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. You must have previous experience within a single site facilities management role and have a strong understanding of service charge budget management. The ability to coordinate and manage the onsite contractors is essential, as is the ability to ensure EH&S compliance. The ideal candidate will be an IWFM member and will have worked within a managing agent environment, ideally with a H&S qualification.
