Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed by a national retailer who is looking to recruit a Construction Project Manager. This company, established over 20-years’ ago, occupy over 600 stores and employ 15,000 people making them one of the most successful and fastest growing retailers in the UK.
The successful candidate will be based in the Southampton regional office covering a geographical patch from Poole to Brighton and some parts of the M25. In total, there are 15 stores within the Southampton region. You will be overseeing the construction of new stores, extensions and modernisations of their existing store portfolio typically working on three to five projects at once up to the value of £3m.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-years’ experience working for a consultancy or client-side organisation. Being MRICS/MCIOB/MAPM with experience in the retail sector is beneficial, but not essential. You must also have good commercial awareness, communication and time management skills.
