Salary: £39,000 – £45,000 + benefits and package.

Our client, at the forefront of Retail unit management companies, is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their Head Office in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading name, they own some of the very best shopping centre’s in the strongest locations across the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will join the Development team, responsible for the delivery of construction projects for the firm.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with senior colleagues offer professional construction advice and help manage teams of contractors and consultants to deliver all aspects of projects. The construction schemes range from low cost cut and carve initiatives to major extensions and refurbishments. The company are looking for a stellar candidate that have a fundamental objective to optimise cost, time and quality in delivering value to the group.

As the Assistant Project Manager, you will ideally have experience within the Retail sector but not a pre requisite. Candidates with Hotel, Leisure and Commercial experience may also be considered. You will have strong projects experience, commercial skills and practical knowledge. In addition to a traditional Project Manager experience, individuals from an Architectural, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Contracting background will be considered. A track record of working on the full life cycle of projects would be advantageous.
