Work starts on new office building in Kingston upon Thames

Quantum Pension Scheme is bringing forward The Smith, a speculative office building in the heart of Kingston upon Thames.

The four-storey building at 145 London Road will provide 39,225 sq ft of high specification office accommodation designed to provide a modern working environment with wellness and productivity at the forefront.

The development, the only new office space in the borough, has started on site with completion scheduled for early 2021.

It is being marketed by sole letting agents Hanover Green, and will comprise open plan offices, feature a contemporary reception area with coffee lounge and raised level space for breakout or informal meetings.

In addition, there will be 60 secure cycle storage spaces, 50 parking spaces and ten electric car charging points as well as showers and lockers for staff.

The Smith is located a short walk from Kingston and Norbiton stations, with direct rail access to London.

Hanover Green Principal David Cuthbert commented: “This building will appeal to both Kingston occupiers and those in the wider SW London market where supply is limited and demand improving”
