A Partner at Wiltshire property consultancy Myddelton & Major has played a role in helping an organisation which distributes shoeboxes with gifts for disadvantaged children at Christmas.

Peter Sammons , who is in charge of managing day-to-day activity on West Wilts Trading Estate, Westbury, was invited by Steve Lloyd of Operation Christmas Child to look around their premises

This have him an opportunity to congratulate Steve for the amazing voluntary work the organisations does in assembling and distributing thousands of shoeboxes filled with gifts for Christmas to disadvantaged children across Europe and to Africa.

This followed Peter helping to facilitate the necessary space for the organisation to carry out its work

Steve said: “Without the help and kindness of Legal & General’s industrial Fund, IPIF, and the assistance of Peter Sammons at Myddelton & Major in arranging it, we would never have been able to secure suitable temporary accommodation for this colossal effort.

“This year we hope to send over 20,000 boxes from the premises on West Wilts Trading Estate and the support and generosity of big companies in making this happen cannot be underestimated”.

Peter added: “It is great to be able to play a small part in helping Operation Christmas Child.

“My client was keen to allow the use of a large space that had recently become available to accommodate the requirement, which is very fortunate as demand for land and premises on the trading estate remains strong.”
