New industrial units have specs appeal at Eagle Business Park

Construction of two new speculative schemes totalling 20 industrial/trade counter units is well underway at Eagle Business Park, Yaxley with steelwork up at both Harrier Court and and Peregrine Court, confirms Barker Storey Matthews.

These are the first speculative units to be built at Eagle Business Park for six years and will premiere the second phase of the Park’s development by leading, local commercial developer, Barnack Estates UK Ltd.

There are a total of six units at Harrier Court and they range in size from 2,670 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft and are offered for sale or to let. The agent advises that one has already been reserved.

At Peregrine Court there are 14 units to let, ranging in size from 2,500 sq ft to 21,100 sq ft.

Eaves heights on all the units are between six to eight metres and both Harrier Court and Peregrine Court offer the facility to combine units and to create self-contained yards. All units are scheduled to be ready for occupation in early 2019.

Given its location – with good road access to Peterborough’s Parkway network and the A1(M) Norman Cross junction, Eagle Business Park has always seen a good mix of trade counter, light industrial, showroom and food sector occupiers. Barker Storey Matthews confirms that Harrier Court and Peregrine Court are attracting interest from operators in similar sectors.

Commenting on the construction of Harrier Court and Peregrine Court, Richard Jones of the property agency’s Peterborough office said, “It is great to see further speculative development at Eagle Business Park and that interest is being shown at such an early stage.

“It demonstrates that the level of demand for high quality industrial units in the Peterborough area remains high.”

Barker Storey Matthews is the sole agent under instruction at Harrier Court and Peregrine Court, Eagle Business Park, Broadway, Yaxley.
