A DIY and construction tools rental specialist has opened a branch with six new jobs at a refurbished Wolverhampton trading estate, thanks to a successful marketing campaign by Bulleys.
The deal with Hire Station means frontages at the Wulfrun Trading Estate are now fully occupied with a range of other top builders, hardware and DIY brands already in place.
The other trade counter brands that have taken units at the Stafford Road site include Selco Builders Warehouse, hardware specialists Screwfix and trade supplier Tool Station, employing dozens of staff between them.
Ed Jenkinson, agency surveyor at Bulleys, said: “Wulfrun Trading Estate is proving to be a real hit with trade counter and building supplies companies, so it was no surprise when Hire Station filled the last unit.
“We are delighted to have completed the attractive trade counter occupiers, spurred on by the original letting to Selco.
“We have achieved good rental levels on long-term leases, helped by the site’s much sought-after B8 planning permission for storage and distribution.
“This is now the perfect location for a one-stop shop where traders, builders and DIY enthusiasts can buy, hire and collect their tools, goods and equipment.”

The landlord of the Wulfrun Trading Estate site, located near the Dunstall Hill area of Wolverhampton, is IO Asset Management (IOAM), a real estate asset and investment manager with a strong heritage in the UK industrial sector. Bulleys is joint agent for the site with Fisher German.
