Commercial land at Junction 12, Gloucester, to see new development

Strategic commercial development land at Junction 12 of the M5 will provide much needed development opportunities for companies looking to either relocate or expand in the region.

The land – formerly known as Javelin Park – has been re-branded Gloucester 12 and is now being fully promoted following a re-launch of the marketing.

The development is a joint venture between Graftongate and SISK Group the well-known construction company.

Graftongate are leading the promotion of the site and have an unrivalled track record in the delivery of industrial and commercial buildings throughout the UK. A planning application for a phase of 4 new buildings between 17,000 and 40,000 sq ft is due to be submitted.

Gloucester-based commercial property consultants Bruton Knowles and M1 Agency based in Birmingham have been appointed to promote Gloucester 12 which offers some of the best motorway access in Gloucestershire.

Robert Smith from Bruton Knowles commented: “The County is desperately short of well-located land that is easy to develop and Gloucester 12 ticks all the boxes. We are promoting a range of industrial and warehouse units and believe the proposals will fill a much needed gap in the market.”

Myles Wilcox Smith from M1 Agency added: “The proposals that Graftongate have formulated will ensure the land is developed as soon as possible. This is a strategic site with excellent potential.”

Graftongate is a development and private real estate company that is focused in the industrial and logistics sector which develop, invest and asset-manage to drive maximum value.

This year, Graftongate has more than one million sq ft of ‘Mid Box’ industrial and logistics warehousing in for planning, consented, under construction, or available for immediate occupation.

This equates to 15 units ranging from 23,000 sq ft to 109,000 sq ft in five core locations, with Gloucester 12 soon to be added to this list.

Phil Silk, Director at Graftongate added: “We pride ourselves in the way work offering a partnership with investors, landowners and occupiers. We are pleased to bring forward our plans for Gloucester 12 and hope to be on site as soon as possible. For those companies looking for a site that is just minutes from the motorway there is no better option.”
