Hicks Baker handles relocation of biotech giants at Culham Science Centre

Hicks Baker recently completed a successful move to expand premises, offering professional advice on the restructuring of leases and the acquisition of additional space at Culham Science Centre on behalf of biotech firm Neuro-Bio.

Due to the firm’s continued success and funding win of £2.5 million from US-based Kairos Ventures, refurbished larger offices and labs were required for the firm to accommodate their expanding team of 12. Hicks Baker were instructed to manage the acquisition of 4,350 sq. ft at the Oxfordshire premises, one of the largest centres of employment in South Oxfordshire and owned by the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA).

Hicks Baker’s expert market knowledge ensured a straightforward and efficient acquisition process for the firm’s new premises. The improved facilities and bespoke designed space will allow Neuro-Bio to continue developing an alternative approach to neurodegenerative diseases.
