Timberland steps forward with intu as it opens even more stores

One of the UK’s most iconic outdoors footwear and clothing brands has chosen to expand with intu by opening more stores across its centres.

Timberland, the American brand built on heritage, craftsmanship and authentic style, is the latest retailer to join the growing portfolio of brands that have chosen to expand their presence across the UK with intu.

The retailer recently signed for 1,600 sq ft space at intu Victoria Centre and 2,000 sq ft space at intu Chapelfield. It also has stores at intu Lakeside, intu Trafford Centre, intu Milton Keynes, intu Watford and intu Derby.

Luke Underhill, founding director, Timberland UK retail partner, Seventy Three Retail Ltd, said: “We’re continuing our expansion plans within intu’s prime shopping centre locations, following on from the success of our existing stores within their portfolio. intu recently announced the expansion plans of international accessories retailer Lovisa who has six stores across its centres. Other retailers opening more stores with intu also include trendy fashion mobile phone accessory brand Skinny Dip, which has stores at intu Victoria Centre, intu Lakeside and intu Chapelfield.
