Communications specialist finalist in Director of the Year award

Sara Robinson, Managing Director of Cake Communications has been named as a finalist in the IoD Wales Director of the Year Awards 2012.

Sara is a finalist in the Young Director category and now goes forward to the IoD Wales Director of the Year Awards Lunch where the very best in Welsh business will be celebrated.

Held at the SWALEC Stadium this week, Simon Walker, Director General, IoD and Rt. Hon Carwyn Jones AM, First Minister of Wales, will address guests and finalists before the winners are announced.

The second year of the awards scheme, sponsored by Cardiff Business School, sees 21 business leaders selected as finalists.

Sara established Cake Communications in 2011. Based in Cardiff Bay, the company is acquiring an enviable reputation for excellence in delivering successful results for customers through innovative use of social media, traditional and digital PR and online content strategy.

Clients include High Performance Computing Wales, Nolan uPVC, Clark’s Pies, Real Estate Asset Management Services, Wales Cooperative Centre and City ethical investment firm Iona Capital.
