M&G Real Estate signs up US law firm to refurbished City of London office

Following the recent refurbishment of M&G Real Estate’s Alder Castle office scheme on Noble Street in the square mile, US law firm Paul Weiss has agreed to lease a further 5,000 sq ft. The firm will expand its footprint by a third totalling 15,000 sq ft on a 10-year lease.

The recent refurbishment, designed by award-winning architect practice, Morrow & Lorraine, has transformed the office building, which now includes a contemporary new reception and category A specification across all floors. Located near Gresham Street, at the heart of The City, the building is in close proximity to the amenities at Cheapside and St Paul’s, whilst Smithfield Market and Farringdon are within 10 minutes’ walk.

William Badger, Asset Manager at M&G Real Estate, comments:

“By refurbishing Alder Castle we are ensuring that the office space we provide is of the highest quality and is in line with evolving occupier demand. We expect further interest in the remaining space from occupiers looking to capitalise on the ideal location and facilities Alder Castle has to offer.”

GM Real Estate and JLL acted for M&G Real Estate – Savills represented Paul Weiss.
