On behalf of London-based client JMG Holdings Ltd, Ryden has signed up Movianto for a 20,000 sq ft modern detached distribution warehouse at 1 York Road in Airdrie.
The pan-Europe healthcare services and solution adviser has taken the space on a 10-year lease at a rent of £7 per sq ft.
It is relocating from 40 Lanark Road in Carluke and will move into more modern accommodation, reflecting the firm’s quality and professional status. The new premises provide Movianto with easier access to Glasgow and Edinburgh, as the premises sit adjacent to the M8 motorway; the main arterial route between the two cities.
Gregor Harvie, associate at Ryden who secured the letting, commented: “We worked hard to achieve a good deal for this 16 year old distribution warehouse and our client couldn’t be more pleased with the rent that we have secured. It is great to see this substantial unit fully occupied once again after Hermes vacated the property in October of last year.”
