Adam Marks new director at Helm Construction

Fast growing Helm Construction has announced a brace of new directorships to support an expanding workforce and packed order book.

The Bristol builders has promoted Head of Finance Adam Marks and Contracts Manager Jon Ticehurst  – said by Chief Executive Gary Sheppard to be key movers in Helm’s success story.

He said: “Eye for detail is key to any business and both Adam and Jon ensure we are on top of the figures and nailing new projects from signing the contract to handing over the keys.

Helm Construction began as a small village business but has grown to be among the top 5 per cent of construction firms in the South West regularly tackling medium to large size building projects for both residential and commercial property developers.

“We need top people in place to ensure we remain as effective on the really big ticket jobs we are now taking on as we do on our various urban regeneration schemes around the city.”

Adam Marks, a commercially minded fully qualified Chartered Accountant with BSc Hons. in Accounting & Finance, brings a mix of business experience of both commercial and residential build sector and his keen eye for detail coupled with great interpersonal skills has placed him at the heart of the Helm team.

Jon Ticehurst brings a wealth of construction experience to Helm and in Gary Sheppard’s words had ‘been there and done it.’

Jon is a construction professional with a proactive approach to customer relationships and project management. He has a large range of construction projects to his name and ensures the highest standards and customer satisfaction whether the project is a new build residential or commercial scheme.
