Bond Wolfe helps Horton Motorcycles open second branch

Family business Horton Motorcycles has expanded into a new showroom in Walsall.

In a deal arranged by property agents Bond Wolfe, it has taken 2,760 sq ft at Unit 2, Bridge House, 47-55 Bridge Street, on a ten year lease.

It is a second outlet for the firm which also has an established centre on Chester Road, Sutton Coldfield.

Run by businessman Nicolas Horton and his son Jacob, the company specialises in Lexmoto low cc motorcycles and scooters.

Nicolas said: “We are proud to announce the opening of our second showroom which is located in Walsall town centre.

“This is in addition to our flagship store in Sutton Coldfield and marks a significant expansion.

“As a family that has a passion for motorcycles we have established ourselves as the place to go for low cc motorcycles and scooters in the Birmingham area. However, we also sell and deliver bikes nationwide.”

Indeed, Horton Motorcycles has further expansion plans in the pipeline.

Richard Horwell, of the commercial agency department at Bond Wolfe, said: “I am looking forward to helping this exciting business further its growth plans with hopes to add another store in the Black Country later this year.”

The Walsall outlet, formerly a fast-food takeaway, is in a prominent town centre position and easy to access.

Lexmoto is an up-and-coming brand of Chinese motorcycle that Mr Horton believes has a lot to offer.

He said: “The bikes are very good quality and excellent value for money, perfect for new or young riders and people who are coming back to the thrill of riding.

“They have some brilliant designs and up-to-date features which is winning them an ever-growing fan base in the UK.”
