Commercial property specialist bolsters team with five graduate appointments

Wales’ largest independent commercial property specialists Cooke & Arkwright has announced the appointment of five graduate surveyors, taking its headcount to over 60.

The Cardiff-based firm has recruited Caryl Howell, 24, Dominic Garner, 24, Gabriel Davies, 22, Thomas Rees, 23 and Rhys Price, 29, as part of the firm’s commitment to identifying and developing rising stars in the commercial property market.

A fluent Welsh speaker, Ms Howell, from Carmarthen, joins the firms with a law degree from Cardiff University and two masters degrees, in Business Management and International Real Estate.

Joining the development land department, Ms Howell will be advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of residential and commercial development land in Wales and England.

A real estate graduate from University of the West of England and fluent Welsh speaker, Thomas Rees, from Lampeter, has become a surveyor within the property management department. He will deal with commercial property including office, industrial and retail sectors.

Rhys Price, from Cowbridge, has joined the business space team – assisting with sales, lettings and acquisitions of office and industrial properties across Wales. He has an MSc in Marketing and a BA in Business Management from Swansea University.

Dominic Garner has joined the retail and leisure agency, where he is assisting the team with lettings and sales, and lease advisory matters. He graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Economics with European Study and has a Masters in Real Estate from the University of Reading.

Gabriel Davies is undertaking his sandwich placement year supporting Cooke & Arkwright’s commercial agency teams while working towards his degree in Real Estate at UWE Bristol.

All graduates will now work with the team at Cooke & Arkwright to gain their chartered surveyor status.
