Businesses are continuing to head to new and rejuvenated business hubs in South Bristol.
Paul Williams from Bruton Knowles’ Great George Street office has completed the second letting in as many months on behalf of BOM Ltd at Clue House in Hengrove, this time to Crendon Timber, who have re-located from their former office at Osprey Court in Whitchurch.
The firm pioneered the use of trussed rafter production in in the UK using technology developed and proven in North America.
Crendon has taken 1,478 sq ft at Clue House – being the remainder of the first floor office suite following the earlier letting to Highcroft Vet Group.
Head of Agency Paul Williams said infrastructure projects such as the South Bristol Link Road and the MetroBus project will greatly improve accessibility to and from the area and this was proving to be a real draw for businesses looking to move or expand in the area.
“South Bristol has seen significant inward investment recently, including the city council’s Filwood Green Business Park, and the continuing growth and development of the Bottle Yard Studios, which is helping to transform perceptions of the area.
“Coupled with transport and infrastructure improvements in the shape of the South Bristol Link Road and the MetroBus project, we are seeing this area start to come into its own as a viable business location, offering significant cost advantages over other more high profile parts of the city.
Strategically positioned just off the A37 Wells Road, Clue House is a detached two-storey office building at the entrance to Central Park, formerly the Berger Paints factory but now offering a mix of offices and business space less than 2 miles from the city centre.
