Surveyor heads south

NG Chartered Surveyors’ associate Andy Smith is to leave the firm and head south.

Andy, who recently recovered from serious injury, is moving to Bristol to take up a new post with DTZ.

Moving: Andy Smith, associate at NG Chartered Surveyors in the city, who is leaving to join DTZ in Bristol.

He has been a familiar figure in the Nottingham commercial property market for the best part of a decade, having worked at Innes England and Musson Liggins before he joined NG.

Mr Smith said: “Having had a life-threatening injury, from which I’m now thankfully recovered, my priorities have changed enormously.

“Leaving NG has been one of the most difficult decisions I have made in my life and has not been made lightly, and I have never been happier at work than working for NG.

“This has not been a decision based on my career alone, I am making this move looking forward to the rest of my life with my future wife.

“I cannot express the gratitude I feel having had the opportunity to work with such a great team of people both at NG and with all those in the Nottingham property market.”
