Steel frames go up at Celtic Business Park development in Newport

This month, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, St. Modwen, has begun erecting the steel frame on a new 48,149 sq ft speculative warehousing/industrial unit at its 100 acre Celtic Business Park development in Newport.

Pete Davies, Senior Development Manager for St. Modwen, said:

“The speculative unit we are delivering at Celtic Business Park is the first building underway at the site and is the only unit of its size currently being built in the wider Newport area. The unit will be ready for occupation by the end of the year and any businesses interested in rent or purchase opportunities should contact our agents Knight Frank or JLL.”

Celtic Business Park is part of the £1bn Glan Llyn site, being developed by St. Modwen which is set to deliver 4,000 new homes and 6,000 new jobs over the next 20 years.

The site is strategically located at the gateway to South Wales linking to junction 23a of the M4 motorway, 12 miles from Cardiff and 30 miles from Bristol. Further design and build opportunities are available to suit requirements from 20,000 – 1.25 million sq ft.
