Growing firm builds for future at former crop research station

A specialist construction company is building for the future by taking the largest unit at a new Wiltshire business centre.

Custom Aspect Ltd secured unit A with 9,033 sq ft (839 sq m) of space at the newly refurbished Codford Business Centre through Salisbury-based property consultancy Myddelton & Major.

Myddelton & Major successfully negotiated the new 10-year letting at the complex near Warminster on an asking rent of £27,000 per annum.

Rachael Ward, a senior surveyor at Myddelton & Major, said: “Custom Aspect Ltd have secured the largest unit at the business centre to use as workshop space.

“We expect occupation levels at this centre to rise quickly with a range of space available, and we would urge anyone interested to contact us quickly.”

Myddelton & Major is acting on behalf of the landlord as the sole agent to market the units at the Codford Centre.

The centre, in Station Road, Codford, near Warminster, is a former crop research centre.

The main block and accompanying buildings stood vacant for many years before being refurbished and adapted for light industrial and storage use.

Remaining units are 3,368 sq ft (313 sq m) with a rent of £6,750 per annum, 3,364 sq ft (312 sq m) at £6,750 and 4,681 sq ft (435 sq m) at £14,000.
