Newport City Council’s Economic Development Manager Rob Frowen has been confirmed as the next Speaker at the City of Newport Business Club’s first lunchtime event of the 2015/15 season.
Rob, a Chartered Surveyor by profession with many years experience in both the private sector and public sector, is responsible for overseeing the re-generation of Newport and also the Economic Development and European Funding functions within the Council. He last spoke two years ago to dispel the rumours that nothing ever happens in Newport and discuss the exciting City centre improvement scheme. He is now returning to the Club to update everyone on the developments and the exciting new plans for the future.
The event, which is open to all business people, takes place at the Holiday Inn, Newport on Tuesday 17 th March 2015 at 12 Noon.
The club’s Chairman, Janine Dance commented: “We are delighted to have Rob back to update us on the developments in Newport and the plans for the future. This will further disprove the nay-sayers who say nothing ever happens in Newport and will give us an insight in to what will happen next.”
