Comfort Controls expands into the Midlands

Building Controls Company Comfort Controls has announced it has opened a new Midlands office as part of its expansion plans. The new office, located in Castle Donington, Derbyshire, will support existing customers as well as targeting new business in the region, with Derby, Nottingham & Leicester all within 20 miles of the strategically chosen location.

Comfort Controls has been providing quality, cost-effective building control and energy management /monitoring solutions since 1984, serving a multitude of market sectors including healthcare, universities, schools, retail, industrial manufacturing and leisure. Comfort Controls’ primary objective is to ‘create energy efficient buildings that are safe, sustainable and beneficial to the occupants.’

Unlike many other Building Management Systems (BMS) companies, Comfort Controls provides a complete in-house service from start to finish; From specification, through to the engineering and design of the system, manufacture of control panels in our own purpose built workshops, electrical installation, programming and commissioning, as well as offering post installation service and maintenance. Comfort Controls has a wealth of knowledge with new and legacy control systems from the market leading manufacturers including Trend, Schneider Electric and Siemens.

On the opening of the new office, Steve Barham, Business Development Manager of Comfort Controls Midlands revealed,
‘The Midlands region offers the potential of a very buoyant market for us. We have been working with businesses here for many years through our offices in the South but wanted to bring a personalised and local unique service to the Midlands region. Our specific strategy here will be to offer Innovative Solutions with an Exemplary Service Experience, and with over 20 years of sales account management experience, growing long term successful key account customers will be my aim.’

Steve’s previous experience, gained after 27 years of dedicated service with the French owned electrical product manufacturer, Schneider Electric, coupled with education including HNC’s in Electronic Engineering, Building Services and a Post Grad in Management from Loughborough University, will help the whole team to offer a new and unique proposition for the Midlands.
