Beach Baker are delighted to have been instructed to recruit a Development Surveyor on behalf of a Public Sector organisation, in the East Midlands.

The role will be responsible for taking forward the effective development of Public Sector owned property assets, with the aim of achieving a number of objectives, including; delivering capital receipts, supporting the Asset Management function and delivering the Property Acquisition/Disposal and Valuation programme.

You will also take responsibility for leading a team of Professional Development Surveyors, who in turn will assist you in bringing forward the owned Property Assets. As a team there will also be a requirement to deal with some day to day estate management issues, including; the recovery of arrears, undertaking inspections and tenant liaison.

It is anticipated that the post holder has their MRICS qualification along with significant experience of development work; appraisals, feasibility assessment. Knowledge of valuation practices will also be expected.
