As Stakeholder Surveyor working for a leading client of this national practice, you will primarily be responsible for working directly with client in the management of their stock, identifying risks and advising on improvements.
You will probably come from a development background given this role focuses a lot on the development of existing stock, whether that be physical buildings or land use. Through these reviews, you will feed back on site constraints and advise accordingly how to combat these constraints. Clear communication is essential as this role also includes undertaking effective community relations and stakeholder communications throughout periods of change.
A hands on attitude and background is important in this role as you will oversee site management to ensure the remediation / construction / dismantling works is being carried out with the least amount of disruption and inconvenient to local residents and businesses.
Ultimately it could be seen as a project orientated role where you will be working on multiple projects at any one time and be responsible for the hearts and minds work behind the scenes to ensure these projects run effectively, efficiently and with minimal impact.
You will probably be a qualified surveyor MRICS and have experience of managing direct supplier relationships.
