Senior/Principal Planner (Bristol)

A great opportunity has arisen within a busy independent planning consultancy in Bristol for a Senior or Principal Planner. You will be joining a friendly and supportive office in Bristol covering the South West, Midlands and M4 corridor region. This firm have a great reputation and are a lovely firm to work for.

We are looking for MRTPI qualified candidates, ideally with some recent/current consultancy experience but we can also consider local authority backgrounds. Ideally candidates will be an experienced Senior or Principal Planner. The work will be primarily residential led including work for housebuilders, smaller resi developers, care home/affordable housing providers, land owners and government institutions. We are looking for a mix of both policy and development management led experience as well as experience of running projects and managing clients. You will ideally have experience of the South West market but for the ideal backgrounds we may also consider relocators.

In addition to the above we are looking for good project management skills, confident communicators and driven individuals. You should have excellent written ability and be confident in client facing situations as part of your role will be developing and maintaining client relationships.
