Senior Planner – North Yorkshire

A local planning and architecture consultancy based in North Yorkshire have exclusively retained Beach Baker in their search for a Senior Planner.

As part of a closely-knit organisation you will be working alongside the architectural team in providing holistic solutions to their client’s requirements. You will be primarily working across a wide spectrum of residential and mixed use developments that will vary greatly in terms of size and complexity. Covering the North of England and the East Midlands you will need to be able to turn your hand to a number of projects but also be conversant with local planning policies.

Due to the nature of this role you will ideally need to be fully MRTPI qualified, have experience within a consultancy environment, and if possible experience working within a design or architecturally led organisation. Those from local authority background or from a developer will be considered, what is important is that you have a commercial mindset and are keen to expand upon your current knowledge.
