The company:
The firm in question are a world-leading property consultancy that offer a full range of commercial property services. This company have recently instructed Beach Baker to recruit an MRICS Senior/Associate Building Surveyor for their expanding Birmingham office.
The role:
The position primarily involves undertaking professional building surveying for a combination of private investment companies, institutions and corporate clients. The successful candidate will complete dilapidations, building surveys for investment and occupation purposes, schedules of condition, defect analysis, contract administration, refurbishment works and maintenance advice, along with development monitoring and project work.
The candidate:
The ideal candidate will be between 1-5 years PQE and will ideally be MRICS (although candidates with at least one year of their APC signed off will also be considered). In addition, they will be client-facing, have experience in a commercial consultancy and willing to complete business development.
