Beach Baker is pleased to be continuing to work with this leading financial services organisation and to attract an experienced residential valuation surveyor to join its dynamic and vibrant company.

You will work in a small team where you will have direct access to the business development team and, with an open plan office, all the professionals within the company.

This is a very dynamic company which provides loan arrangements for developers of residential sites across the UK. In operation for 20 years, it is a very well-established business and is very successfully run by a number of leading individuals from within the financial services sector.

Your role will be to conduct residential valuations of the proposed site to confirm he loans. Whilst a large proportion of the development sites are in London, the company has many clients developing sites are across the UK and you will have extensive contact with agents.

Mostly office based, you will research comparables; speak to agents; check planning/floorplans; produce a development value of the scheme, etc. Having collated and qualified all the relevant research and details you will prepare a report which will ultimately confirm provision of the loan (or otherwise). This report (which is purely used for internal purposes) will be succinct and outline the accommodation; price/value information; an overview of the site; local amenities; etc and provide a commentary of the area of the proposed site. You will also be responsible for obtaining quotes from valuations surveyors and QS reports and instructing these.

The Residential Valuations candidate will feel extremely involved in the business and have a real impact on the business decisions made.
