The company:

The firm in question are a well-known property consultancy that offer the full range of commercial property services. This company have recently instructed Beach Baker to recruit an MRICS / Senior Building Surveyor for their expanding Building Consultancy team. They have had a strong 2020 and have a busy pipeline for 2021, therefore they are seeking an ambitious and motivated Building Surveyor who is able to work autonomously. The company primarily work within the commercial, retail and industrial sectors within the East Midlands.

The role:

The position primarily involves undertaking professional building surveying for a combination of investors, private firms and charitable organisations. The successful candidate will primarily complete dilapidations, building surveys for investment and occupation purposes, schedules of condition, defect analysis, project management and bank monitoring work, amongst others. There is significant home / flexible working offered.

The candidate:

The ideal candidate will ideally be MRICS (or close to completing their APC) and have a solid background with professional building surveying, ideally within a consultancy. You must be commercially minded, have excellent communication skills and be motivated to succeed within a forward-thinking organisation.

Remuneration:

The salary is flexible and dependent on experience. In addition to a competitive basic salary, you will also receive a car/car allowance, discretionary bonus, 5% pension (employer contribution), paid subscriptions and excellent progression opportunities.
