Head of Planning – Staffordshire

Posted on: 15/09/2016 ~ Company:

A leading Multidisciplinary Consultancy has retained Beach Baker in their search for a new Director level Town Planner or strong Associate, joining a national planning team, with an excellent reputation across the country, where you will be leading their Staffordshire Planning Service.

With an established book of private and public sector clients you will be able to hit the ground running helping to provide a holistic property solution alongside a supportive team. It would be beneficial if you were able to bring some your own contacts and projects to develop, this in combination with the existing requirements will allow you to expand on an already enviable client base. You will need to have experience running teams, and will ideally have ambitions on growing a larger team based upon your success. The planning service within this organisation offers a full range of services including planning reviews, master planning, development plan work, development management and broad planning advice both internally and externally.

To apply for this role, you must be operating at either Director level or as an Associate looking to take your first Director position, and you will need to be fully MRTPI qualified. Ideally the majority of your experience will be based within a similar private consultancy environment, however should you come from a local authority development management background, you will also be considered should you be comfortable in a client led fee earning role.

With tremendous potential, and an already established client base you will be given a great opportunity to grow this role into something of your own. You will also be offered a competitive remuneration package and bonus potential.

To apply for this role please do not hesitate to contact Kyle Lynch for a confidential conversation. We aim to get back to all applications; however, due to the volume of applications we receive, we are not always able to do so. If you have not received a response within 4 – 5 working days, please assume your application has not been successful this time round. We will confidentially retain your details and will not release any information without your express consent, having first consulted you.
