Electrical Maintenance Manager

The role of the Maintenance Manager is to take operational responsibility for the provision of the contracted hard services to two healthcare sites in Essex. This will include management of on site staff, adherence to company and clients policies in line with ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditation. Ensure that all service deliverables are fully compliant with statutory and contractual requirements, meeting expectations and returning value to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve with the site team any failings of PPM.
  • Ensure the PPM system is maintained and updated.
  • Carry out quality audits of all services delivered to site.
  • Carry out Statutory Compliance Reviews.
  • Provide technical advice to on site team, including PPM and reactive tasks.
  • Be responsible for responding to the specific site demands and the need for 24 hour service and regular testing of contingency plans used to maintain supplies and services.
  • Draft and manage site operational budgets, offering cost efficiencies and increased profitability where possible.
  • Promote a Health and Safety culture and recommend new initiatives and review and build on existing systems.
  • Responsible for the development of effective relationships with all stakeholders within the contract, with particular emphasis on SPV and Hospital clients, and to ensure effective communications and engagement with all parties.

The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (17th Edition) with an IOSH and be an Approved Person. Previous Healthcare experience and/or understanding of PFI contracts would be an advantage.
