A leading international construction consultancy have recently instructed Beach Baker with a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Building Surveyor to join their growing and highly successful Birmingham office.
The company have an exciting business plan to development their building consultancy services across the UK, and they see the Midlands as a key region for growth, and are looking for a dynamic individual to join their busy team. You will be responsible for managing a highly successful building consultancy team working on multi-million pound capital projects with some major framework clients in the commercial, distribution and public sectors.
The ideal candidate will already be an established Associate with team management experience and a successful track record of generating new business, however, strong candidates at the Senior Surveyor level who are looking for their next career step will also be considered. Ideally you will already be working for a competing firm and can bring business with or have contacts to develop future fee income.
In addition to your core surveying skills based on at least 5 years’ post qualification (MRICS) experience you should be involved in all aspects of Project Management both from a project team and contract administration angle.
