A leading international practice has recently instructed Beach Baker to recruit an Assistant Building Surveyor for their established London office. This firm have expertise across a range of sectors and specialisms, and pride themselves on their holistic approach in overseeing projects from inception to completion.
The successful candidate will gain experience working small to medium size projects within a variety of sectors. Full support will be provided for individuals working towards their APC, enabling them to become a Chartered Building Surveyor as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The company also have a number of APC assessors and provide weekly APC sessions to support you.
We are seeking graduates (with a RICS-accredited building surveying degree), with preferably 12 to 18 months’ experience gained in a consultancy environment. Experience with design and contract admin will be beneficial. The role will include managing client meetings, preparing tender reports, specification writing and survey inspections. Consequently, the candidate must be confident in working both autonomously and within a team.
